Network Security

Every business requires a true Unified Threat Management protocol that defies even the most persistent intruder’s attempts. We engineer a multilayer solution into your network complete with a Network Assessment to identity any predetermined deficiencies with your environment.

There is no one “magic bullet” solution that companies can employ to secure their networks. To fully understand and create complete solutions to security requires the strongest engineering and business relationships with the leading companies in the security arena. Therefore, you will find Networking Solutions partnerships to demonstrate true understanding of the complexities of Security. Industry leaders include Cisco, SonicWall, Juniper Networks, Symantec, McAfee, Microsoft, AVG and nameless others. Only by maintaining such alliances can we guarantee to engineer you the best solution to securing vital information.

The Concepts of Network Security

  • Authentication is considered a basic form of Network Security. An end user will “authenticate” to a network resource by entering a username with a unique password that are logically connected. This is known as “one factor authentication” and is accomplished with a “domain controller.”
  • With “two factor authentication” a physical device is added (security token, dongle, ATM card or a mobile smart device) in conjunction with the username and password.
  • Three factor authentication requires something physical to authenticate in conjunction with the username and password such a fingerprint, retinal scan or voice recognition.
  • Once a user is authenticated a firewall appliance grants only the access policies and services the end user is allowed to receive.
